Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese martial art with a family lineage dating back over one hundred and fifty years. It's origins lie in the Forbidden City of Ching dynasty China.
The Wu family have dedicated their lives to expanding and developing their family art for five generations. The current head of the family is Grandmaster Wu Kwong Yu, also known as Eddie Wu.
Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy in Brixton, south London is one of several Wu family academies around the world with headquarters based in Hong Kong. We are extremely fortunate to have access to Wu's style Tai Chi Chuan direct from the source.

Classes are taught by our chief instructor Neville Cote who is a disciple of Grandmaster Wu Kwong Yu. Neville is assisted by certified instructors Andy Petch and Yul Emirali.
Beginners classes are every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm 'til 8.30pm at St Vincents on Talma Road. Map and directions here.
After you have completed your trial if you wish you can join our Academy. Membership fees are £50 pcm which gives you access to our beginners classes. For those that cannot attend regularly we offer a drop-in rate of £15 per class.
After completing the beginners syllabus we also have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings covering the intermediate and advanced syllabus, including self-defence and traditional weapons training.
Personal training and private tuition is also available and we teach many students in parks and gardens. Fees start at £50 per hour. Please get in touch for more details.
